Zackery Zack Mims Fountain

Zackery “Zack” Mims Fountain, 36, of Sylvania and formerly of Collins died Monday, October 10, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

Zack was a son of Randy and Karen Brown and grew up in Collins.  He was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and graduated from Tattnall County High School in 2004.  Zack was a farmer and a logger having worked on his family farm.  He loved hunting and fishing and loved his family.

Surviving are his son, Brennen Fountain; his daughters, Kherrighan Fountain, Ryder Meeks, and Mayzie Grayce Fountain;  his parents, Karen and Randy Brown of Collins; his maternal grandparents Janice Mosley and Mims Brower; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Betty Brown; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, from 9:30 until 11 a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.

The funeral service will be held 11 o’clock in the morning on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.

The graveside will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in Screven Memorial Park in Sylvania, Georgia on Friday, October 14, 2022.
