Wallace Billy Lynn

Wallace Billy Lynn, 77, of Collins died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville. A 1954 Collins High School graduate, he was the son of Wallace and Kate Oliver Lynn. Billy worked 46 years as auto parts manager at J.C. Lewis Ford, Fairway Lincoln and at O.C. Welch Ford-Lincoln. After retirement, he moved back home to Collins in 2001. He loved to hunt, play the guitar and his little dog, Todd. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Farrell and Eddie Lynn.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Marolyn Carter Lynn, of Collins; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Dani Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Mike Hatton of Mobile, AL; sister, Ida Boyette of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren, Shannon (David) Pritchett, Jimmy (Michelle) Lynn, Charity Lynn, Shawn (Elisa) Lynn all of Pooler, Marolyn (Charles) Robbins of Deer Park, AL and Beverly Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel with Rev. Roger Branch officiating.
