Dateline: Metter Vickie June DeLoach, 55, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her home in Statesboro. She was a Metter High School graduate and attended Swainsboro Tech, East Georgia College receiving her Master Degree in early childhood education from Georgia Southern College. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill DeLoach; grandparents, Fred and Myrtle DeLoach, Lela and Grady Tucker.
Survivors are a son, Dustin Davis of Swainsboro; mother, Fredda Baughn DeLoach; a brother, Fred DeLoach; niece and nephew, Alicia and Cam DeLoach all of Metter; special uncle and aunt, Lowell "Pops" and Sue Nell Baughn of Statesboro; several other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Larry Sheehy officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris Chappell, Greg Tucker, Travis Cobb, Kyle Tucker, Mike Childs and Robert Baughn.
