Vertie Mae Bryant Daniels, 86, of Stillmore , died Monday, March 21, 2016, at Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta. Born in Stillmore, Georgia, she was a daughter of Raymond and Blonnie Estelle Sutton Bryant. Mrs. Daniels retired from Twin City Manufacturing in 1998, then working for Greenleaf Nursery for several years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and flea marketing and attended Stillmore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, T.J. McNeal and Charlie Frank Daniels; two sons, Wallace and James McNeal; a son-in-law, Kyle Beaver and a brother, J.W. Bryant.
Surviving are two daughters, Editha "Dot" Durden and husband, Johnny of Shellman Bluff and Clara Beaver of Salisbury, NC; a son, John Thomas "Tommy" McNeal, Jr. of Stillmore; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Peggy Bryant of Twin City; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bobbie Faye Coursey of Metter and Martha Sue and Joe Bolin of Moultrie; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2:00 pm at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. George Archer officiating. Burial will be in the Stillmore City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8pm at the funeral home.
