Tway Wells, 58, of Metter died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Swainsboro, the son of Donald "Toby" and Mildred Oglesby Wells and lived all of his life in the Metter area. He was retired from Wallace Manufacturing, later known as R. R. Donnelly, having worked as a Correlator. Tway loved hunting and fishing and was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. His favorite time was spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald "Toby" Wells.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Coursey Wells; two daughters, Tracie Wells (Corey Lank) and Amy Wells; his mother, Mildred Oglesby Wells; a brother, Donny Wells (Tammie): a sister Sheila Trapnell (Morgan); and two grandchildren, Harvin Lank and Jasper Lank all of Metter.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel in Metter. Burial will follow in Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 5 until 8 o'clock, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ray Collins, Richard Edenfield, David Woods, William Harris, Jesse A. Durden, and Rusty Simmons.
