Tonya Cadwell

Tonya Cadwell, of Vidalia, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Metter and lived in Vidalia for the past couple of years.  Tonya attended Georgia Southern University and was a Physical Therapist Assistant having worked for Pruitt Health and most recently Memorial Health Wellness.  She was a past member of Evergreen Baptist Church and in recent years became a member of Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry C. Cadwell, Jr. and Melva Sherrod Cadwell.

Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Broc Davis of Reidsville; a nephew, Brant Davis of Reidsville; her Uncle and Aunt, Floyd and Martha Sherrod of Waynesboro; and several cousins.

The memorial service will be held 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Evergreen Baptist Church with the family to receive friends immediately following the service.

In Lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, in care of Robert West, 6611 Highway 129 South, Cobbtown, Georgia  30420.
