Tony Curtis Morgan, 58, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. Born in Cobbtown, he was the son of Clyde Algerine and Florine Woods Morgan. Growing up in Collins, he became disabled after an accident at age 16. He attended Rogers Baptist Church and has lived in Metter since 2003. Tony was a great artist and cartoonist. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are two brothers, C.A. (Dena) Morgan of Ailey and Billy (Patsy) Morgan of Soperton; five sisters, Sue (Bobby) O'Conner of Mt. Vernon, Carolyn Jenkins of Shellman Bluff, Mae (Ronnie) Holland of Collins, Paulette (Charles) Radelet of Statesboro and Ella (John) Alexander of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
