Thomas Eugene Lowe

Thomas Eugene Lowe, 75, of Cobbtown and husband of the late Charlotte M. Lowe, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

Born in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Lowe was a member of Cobbtown Baptist Church and lived in Boynton Beach, Florida before moving to Cobbtown several years ago.  He retired as Parks and Recreation caretaker in Boynton Beach and while living in Florida, he and his wife, Charlotte, were active in the RC Cola Bowling League. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Lowe and siblings, Doug Limppo, Marlene Donahue, Herbert Hasenbuhler, Jr., Sonja Edwards, Lorna Chance, Donna Chavis, Ronald Hasenbuhler, and Ralph Hasenbuhler.

Surviving are his daughters, Carolyn Wells and her husband, Robbie of Eustis, Florida, Diana Foster of Charleston, South Carolina, Debbie Keesler and her husband, John of Metter and Kimberly Casabona and her husband, Jason of Cobbtown; two sisters, Barbara Ann Forehand and Christine Chapman and six grandchildren, Rachele, Kenny, Breanna, Ryan, Johnny, and Samantha; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The funeral will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

Interment will be private.
