Terry Ray, 61, passed away Saturday August 29, 2020 at Summit Medical Center in Tennessee.  She was the daughter of Buddy and Melba Sue Gerrald Sewell.  She was of Baptist faith, loved doing yard work and spending time with her animals. She also loved spending time with her sidekick (grandson) Gage.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Shawn Powell; her sister, Beverly Sewell Jarriel.

Surviving are her mother, Melba Sue Gerrald; a brother, Steamboat Sewell of Cobbtown; sisters, Linda Woods of Metter and Tammy Sikes of Cobbtown.  Her grandchildren are Luke and Kaylee Clark, Marlee Powell, Dalton Powell and Gage Powell; one great-grandchild, Braylon Clark and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

Interment will be in Sunlight Cemetery.

All CDC and Social Distancing Guidelines will be observed at the funeral home for visitation and the church for the service.  Face Mask are suggested.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
