Sheri Leigh Wildes Kight, 45, of Metter died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 3, 2016. She had moved to Metter three years ago from Claxton. She grew up in the Hillview Community and attended Reidsville High School. Sheri was a member of the Anchor Worship Center in Metter. She was a homemaker, a wonderful wife and mother. Sheri was a dearly loved daughter and sister.
Survivors are her husband of 18 years, Ricky Kight of Metter; two sons, Dylan Kight of Orlando, FL and Zachary Kight of Metter; her mother, Sandra Jenkins Davis of Claxton; her father, Jack Beaupre (Kim) Wildes of Hillview; two sisters, Tammie (Michael) Eason of Claxton and Missy Wildes of Knoxville, TN; paternal grandfather, Charles Farrell (Jan) Wildes of Ringgold; a niece, Avery Eason and four nephews, Chase and Levi Eason, Tyler and Jeremy Needham; two step-daughters, Tiffany Spicer of Statesboro and Brandi Sikes of Cobbtown; and two step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Allie Spicer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 am, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Pastor Jessie Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Cemetery near Collins. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 pm, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Andy Jenkins, Travis Jenkins, Daniel Jenkins, Nathan Jenkins, Jason Douglas and Keith Crowley.
