Shelby Fulmer

Shelby Lynn Fulmer, 28, of Metter passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, peacefully at her residence.

Shelby lived in Metter all of her life, was a graduate of Metter High School and was of the Baptist faith.  Shelby loved spending time with her family and riding golf carts and four wheelers.  She enjoyed suntanning and listening to her headphones with her IPhone.  Shelby was preceded in death by her father, Billy Fulmer; her maternal grandfather, Newburn Wilkes; her sister, Sonia Fulmer; her maternal grandfather, Bill Hackle; her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Fulmer; an aunt, Vickie Parker; and an uncle, Kenneth Fulmer, Jr.

Surviving are her mother, Susan Hackle Fulmer; her sisters, Wendy Bass and Billie Sue Fulmer (Tracy Snipes); her maternal grandmother, Frances Wilkes; her aunts and uncles, Sandra and Bobby Layson, Linda and William Woods, Joann and Henderson Deal, Sandra and Blaine Samples, Wanda Fulmer; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5 until 8 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The funeral will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

Interment will be in Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.
