Sharon “Aunt Sharon” Collins, 80, of Collins died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Meadows Park Health and Rehabilitation in Vidalia. Living most of her life in Collins, she was the daughter of Aubry and Sidney Cannon Collins. She had lived in Vidalia for the past four years where she was a member of the First Assembly of God. Sharon retired as a supervisor from Roydon Wear in Reidsville. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, J.B., Lamar and David.
Survivors are two brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Barbara Collins of Riverview, FL and Phillip and Peggy Collins of Collins; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Collins and Lois Collins both of Ailey and Carolyn Collins of Tarrytown; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 am, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with Rev. David Knight officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery.
