Sandra Kay Tullis

Sandra Kay Tullis, 81, of Metter passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Tullis was born the daughter of Sanford and Helen Back in Oswego, Kansas. When she was young, she married the love of her life, Mr. Randall Tullis. She lived most of her life in Coffeyville, Kansas but has resided in Metter for the past five years. During her time in Metter, she became an active member of New Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed serving in the church, especially Operation Christmas Child. Mrs. Tullis loved to express her creative side by creating jewelry in her spare time. She also loved to spend her time shopping. Mrs. Tullis spent years working in the food service industry, where she made lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tullis was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randall Tullis; a brother, Stanley Back; and a granddaughter, Ashton Bryant.

Surviving are a son Douglas Tullis of Independence, Kansas; a daughter, Kimberly Bazemore of Metter; her grandchildren, Dusty (J.K.)  Crews and Zachary (Kim) Bryant; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan Stark, Kenneth Colton Crews, Dylan Crews, and Kinsley Bryant.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The Funeral service will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
