Sam Wood of Metter and formerly of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died early Sunday morning at Candler County Hospital in Metter.
Surviving are his friends that he knew as family at Orchard Health and Rehabilitation in Pulaski.
The funeral service for Mr. Wood will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10 o’clock in the morning at the graveside in Lake Cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
