Ruby Lee Bryant Davis Sego, 85, of Twin City died Thursday at Serenity Hospice in Dublin. Born in Jenkins County, she was the daughter of Willie and Ruth Batchlor Bryant. She had lived most of her in Metter and Twin City. Mrs. Sego was a homemaker and also a seamstress working in a clothing factory for many years. She was a member of the New Life Tabernacle of Twin City.
Preceding her in death were two husbands, James Albert Davis, Sr. and Hyman Douglas Sego; her parents, brothers and sisters and a son-in-law.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. James Albert Davis, Jr. and Teresa of Twin City; a daughter, Linda Autry of Swainsboro; a half-sister, Marilyn Barber of Perkins; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with her son, Rev. James Albert Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery near Garfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Overstreet, Nathan Davis, Tracy Williams, Earon Davis, Jesse Brown and Mike NeSmith.
