Rosemary Lira

Rosemary Lira, 47, of Metter, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, in McAllen Texas.

Rosemary was born in Raymondville, Texas on October 18, 1973, and moved to Metter at a young age.  She was a graduate of Metter High School.  Rosemary was the Migrant Student Specialist at Metter Elementary School for the Candler Board of Education for many years. She attended New Life Baptist Church in Metter.  Rosemary enjoyed going to the movies, reading and spending time with family, especially her kids.

Surviving are her partner in life, Mickey Turner; her sons, Rogelio Coronado, Jr., Christopher James Coronado, and Rylan Lee Turner; her mom, Maria Linda Chavez Lira, her dad, Manuel Lira; her brothers, Manuel Lira, Jr., Guadalupe J. Lira, and Joe Anthony Lira.; her sisters, Mary Ann Lira Rodriguez, Linda Marie Lira, and Rachel Mercado.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church on Monday, August 23, 2021, at New Life Baptist Church in Metter with her memorial service at 7:30p.m. at the church.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
