Robert Ray "Bob" Jennings

Robert Ray “Bob” Jennings, 85, of Metter died Monday, August 17, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Metter, he was the son of Paul Solomon Jennings and Ollie Dell Jennings.  He lived in McDonough for a number of years before moving back to Metter around 2007.  Mr. Jennings was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor, having worked at Chic-Fil-A in McDonough in years past.

Surviving are two cousins Faye Lanier (Vaughan) of Cobbtown and Jerry Collins (Gail) of Metter.

The graveside service will be held 9:30 a.m. in the morning, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery on Saturday.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
