Robert Clarence Snyder, 73, of Metter died Monday, November 24, 2014 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Born in Pennsylvania, he moved to Metter in 2002 from Miami, Florida. He was a welder while living in Florida and retired as a security guard with DSI Security in Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and an avid football and wrestling fan. Robert was preceded in death by a son.
Survivors are his companion of 27 years, Lucy Felton of Metter; four step-children, Thomas Patterson, Richard Patterson, Robert Felton and Michelle Lynn; two grandchildren, Adrian and Deborah Mills.
