Rikki Cassandra "Cassie" Carter

Rikki Cassandra “Cassie” Carter, 25, of Metter, Georgia passed away on February 10, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.

Cassie was born in Statesboro Georgia and lived in Metter all her life.  She was a 2016 graduate of Metter High School where she excelled in JROTC as a Sergeant and Squad leader.

You could usually find Cassie getting lost in a book or listening to music. She enjoyed trying new things and had a newfound love for golf.  Her greatest love though was spending time with her family, swimming or fishing on her family’s farm.  She will be remembered for the loving and compassionate person she was with the most beautiful piercing blue eyes that would stop you in your tracts.

Cassie is proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather Ricky Salter, her paternal grandfather Byron Carter, Uncle Tommy Carter and infant brother Tristan Blaze Odom.

Surviving are her parents Christy and Gene Odom Jr; father Christopher Carter; Her siblings Seth Carter (Daisy), Gage Odom, Jett Odom, Damon Odom and Callie Carter; her maternal grandmother Jean Lewis (Joy); her paternal grandparents Gene and Sandra Odom, and Marty Deal (Joe);  Aunt Laci Wilson (David); and Uncles Jeremy Salter (Wendy) and Greg Odom. And two nephews.

The funeral will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The family will receive friends and family from 1pm until 2:45pm On Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
