Presley Woodcock

Presley Jean “Punkin” Woodcock, 4, of Metter went to be with Jesus, “JiJi”, on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Presley was a beautiful, courageous, smart, and spunky four year old full of life. Every day of her life was a battle to live. Presley was born with Dravet Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy. Through it all she stood strong, and trusted in Jesus. She smiled, laughed and loved like no other. Even though she could never enjoy the outdoors or sunshine because of the Dravet, she was that ray of sunshine that touched everyone’s life. She had Dravet but Dravet did not have her.  Presley loved taking videos and photos, watching her favorite cartoon, “Talking Tom” and spending time with her cousins whom she loved like siblings. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents and her uncle Preston Walls.

Presley is survived by her parents, Anthony and Randi Woodcock of Metter; a brother, Aiden Woodcock of Aline; paternal grandparents, Ray and Rena Woodcock of Metter and Pam Collins also of Metter; maternal grandparents, Brenda “Gam Gam”  Vincent of Metter and Randall Burnsed of Ellabell, many aunts, uncles and beloved cousins; especially, “Sissy”, “Ray Ray”, “BeeBee”, and “Girl”.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Monday, August 8, 2016 at Grace and Truth Church on Highway 46 East of Metter with Pastor George Rhodes officiating.  Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 5-7 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Lance Mixon, George Rhodes, James Woodcock, Joey Collins, Angel Mixon and Brenda Rhodes.
