Myrtle Frances Collins Hart

Myrtle Frances Collins Hart, 96, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. She was born in Tattnall County, the daughter of Orie and Alice Blalock Collins, living there most of her life. Mrs. Hart was a homemaker who loved to camp and fish with her family. She was a loving grandmother with a green thumb for flowers and gardening and loved reading the morning newspaper. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Orie and Alice Blalock Collins; her husband, Issac Wright "I.W." Hart; two brothers, Grady Collins and Bo Collins; two sisters, Bertie C. Cowart and Janie C. Lynn.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Darwin and Jackie Hart of Collins and Snellville; a brother, Larry Collins of Collins; two grandchildren, Donna Hart Offield of Tazewell, VA and John Darwin Hart of Augusta; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with Rev. Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:30-7:30, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Collins, Gary Collins, Keith Cowart, Billy Cowart, Mike Collins and John Peacock.
