Misty Joy Calloway

Misty Joy Calloway, 33, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, in St. Augustine, Florida. She lived most of her life in Tattnall County before moving to St. Augustine two years ago. Misty, a 1998 graduate of Tattnall County High School, was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. After developing health problems, she was a transplant recipient in 2010. Misty loved her animals. She was preceded in death by a loving mother, Sherry Sisson Calloway; and two grandfathers, Roger P. Calloway, Sr. and Barney Sisson.

Survivors are her father and another loving mother, Roger and Sandy Calloway of Cobbtown; mother, Kathy Sinnott of California; a sister, Macy Calloway Lewis and her husband, McKinley; two brothers, Christian Calloway of Cobbtown and Tyrel Oates of California; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Harmon Woods of Metter; maternal grandparents, Jackie and Walt Brinson of Port Wentworth and Eloise Sisson of Cobbtown; a niece and a nephew, Raelynn and Dalton Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 PM, at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Greene officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 PM, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tim Waters, McKinley Lewis, Donny Sisson, Ben Sisson, Loran Calloway and Lyndall Calloway.
