Mike Beasley

Michael “Mike” Dame Beasley passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.

Mike was born on January 28, 1958, to the late Floyd Beasley and Eloise Reardon Beasley in Metter, where he lived all his life.

Mike was a printer and heavy equipment operator by trade, having worked in the construction business for many years as a member of the local 406 Union. He enjoyed working both locally and on the road in Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and Florida. Mike was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ceder Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching football, Atlanta Braves baseball, and his grandkids sports games, he was so proud of all his grandchildren. Above all, Mike enjoyed helping others. He was a Red Cross Blood Donor and had donated over 10 gallons. Mike was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and neighbors.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Floyd Beasley and Rev. Charles E. Beasley; and sister, Nancy Beasley Crosby.

Those who will cherish Mikes’s Memory are his wife, Brenda Beasley; his sons, Marcus (Elizabeth) Daniel Beasley and Zachary (Heather) Kyle Beasley; his brother, Rev. Johnny Beasley; his grandchildren, Matthew Bryan, Marah Elizabeth, Levi Herrin, Brady Austin, Wyatt Jeramiah, and Walker Dame Beasley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, February 22, from 5-7PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 23, at 3PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Lake Cemetery.
