Mary Elizabeth Hadden Robinson

Mary Elizabeth Hadden Robinson, 95, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Oxley Park Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lyons. Born in Toombs County, she lived most of her life in the Marvin Community moving to Vidalia in 1979. Mary was the daughter of John Thomas and Mattie Amerson Hadden where she grew up working on the family farm. She was a member of the Marvin United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herbert and Thomas Hadden; three sisters, Inez Hightower, Eunice Williams and Rebecca H. Williams.
Survivors are two sisters, Minnie H. Edenfield of Metter and Vera H. Jones of the Marvin Community in Toombs County; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 3:00 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. Larry Gooden and Ryan Rutan officiating. Burial will be in the Marvin Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm before funeral time. Pallbearers will be John Jones, David Franklin, Larry Cox, Terry Deal, Troy Berry and Broadus Aldrich.
