Mary Alice Howard

Mary Alice Howard, 85, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at Candler County Hospital.

Mrs. Howard was the daughter of T.E. and Louisa Edmonson.  She was a registered nurse and worked in the nursing field for many years before retiring.  She loved to play bridge and line dance with her friends. Mrs. Howard was a member of the Metter Presbyterian Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her son, Walter Palmer and her late husband, Jack Paul Howard.

Surviving are her son, Walter Palmer; a sister, Elaine Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. at Metter Presbyterian Church.

The funeral service will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Metter Presbyterian Church.

Interment will be in Lake Cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
