Mary E. "Liz" Bryan Deal

Mary E. "Liz" Bryan Deal, 73, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Beaufort County, South Carolina native was the daughter of the late Dan and Elnora Coleman Bryan. She retired as an inspector with Cintas Manufacturing in Portal. Liz was an avid gardener and decorator and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are her husband, Dopson L. Deal of Metter; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bryan and Kathy Dixon of Garfield and Tucker Dixon of Cobbtown; step-son and his wife, Jeffrey and Brenda Deal of Metter and Jennifer Deal Reeves of Callahan, FL; a special cousin, Judy Purcell of Metter; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel with Rev. Johnny Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 5:30-7:30 pm, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joe Deal, Burton Sconyers, Danny Ray Collins, Larry Purcell, Sonny Youmans and Gene Cheshire.
