Marolyn Carter Lynn

Marolyn Carter Lynn, 84, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023 in Savannah, Ga.

Mrs. Marolyn was born the daughter of Homer and Cordeal Carter. She grew up in the Cobbtown area but spent a period of her time living in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Billy Lynn. They later relocated back to Collins, Georgia. Mrs. Marolyn loved spending her time working in her yard. She especially loved to fill the outside of her home with windchimes. Mrs. Marolyn also loved to pass the time reading books. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lynn, as well as a grandchild, Jimmy Lynn.

Surviving are her son, Lloyd (Daniela) Lynn; daughter, Julia Hatton; grandchildren, Shannon Pritchett, Charity Lynn, Shawn Lynn, Marolyn Robbins, and Beverly Lynn; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
