Marie L Kemp

Marie L Kemp died peacefully at 100 years old on January 7, 2024 while enrolled in Hospice Savannah. Marie was born on January 23, 1923. Marie is survived by her two sons John T Kemp who resides in Tampa, Florida and Kenneth D. Kemp, MD  who lives in Savannah & his wife Dianne and daughter Ashley of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Marie is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marie received her Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Later Marie went on to be a dietician at Duke University Hospital. Her favorite pastimes were art, golf, stock market, politics and bridge.

A memorial service will be held at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Cemetary Church on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 12:00PM. Flowers can be sent to Kennedy Funeral Homes at 223 S E Broad St, Metter, GA 30439. Phone number is (912) 685-2131.
