Lynda Sue Deal Lamb

Lynda Sue Deal Lamb, of Metter, died late Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond Hill.

She was born in Claxton, Georgia on November 20, 1960, and was a daughter of James B Deal and Wilma Oliver Deal.  She attended Restoration Worship Center in Metter and worked as a waitress for many years. Lynda was Preceded death by a son, Timothy Brown, and two brothers, Tony L. Oliver and James R. Deal; two grandchildren, Samuel Austin Matteson and Bradley Nevaeh Clifton; partner, Charles Ray Wilkes.

Surviving are her two sons, Henry Brown (Lindsay Catherine Byard) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Jamie Deal (Felicia) of Metter; a daughter, Janet Matteson (Gary Moore, Jr) of Statesboro; two sisters, Billie Jean Deal and Genia Oliver both of Statesboro; her spiritual children, Christy and Brian Brown; several grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at Restoration Worship Center in Metter.

The memorial service held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 4 o’clock in afternoon at Restoration Worship Center in Metter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Restoration Worship Center Building Fund.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
