Louise Hale Mosley, 81, of the Aline community passed away Monday, January 05, 2015, at her home. Born in Cumberland County, Tennessee, the daughter of Archie and Jewel Hale, she moved to Metter in 1960. She was a 1952 graduate of Crossville High School and retired in 1998 from the Candler County Board of Education. Louise was a member of the Metter Church of God and a longtime Adult Sunday School teacher. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Royce Mosley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Melanie Mosley, David and Sandra Mosley all of the Aline Community; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Al Lawson of Swainsboro; seven grandchildren, Megan M. Deal, Pierce Allen Mosley, Jenna Kay Mosley, Raven Hall, Logan Hall, Sammie Jo L. Johnson and Elizabeth Lawson; three great grandchildren, Braydon, Mercer and Kennedy; three sisters, Ruby Sanders of Ohio, Velma Fiortino of Florida and Marceda Proxmire of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 pm, at the Metter Church of God with Pastor Alan Kea officiating. Rev. B.G. Hamon will preside at the burial in the Cool Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation will be Thursday evening, 5:30-7:30 pm, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Broadus Aldrich, Kenny Coleman, Buddy Hooker, Jeff Smith, Johnny Biggers and Mike Purvis. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
