Louise “Fudge” Page Crooms, 81, passed away Thursday October 24, 2024, at her residence under hospice.
She was the daughter of Ivey and Bertie Kicklighter Page. She graduated from Metter High School. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. She had a special dish that each family member loved for her to cook. She enjoyed watching soap operas and spending time with her family. She was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church and the Lighthouse Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Orville Jones; her two brothers: James Otis Page and Shelton Page; a niece, Della Youngblood.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Hubert Crooms; a son, Randy (Susan) Crooms; a sister, Virginia “Pen” Mercer; grandchildren, Matt Crooms, Morgan (Justin) McDaniel, Macy Crooms Reed, Sarah Crooms, Robert Brian Crooms and Sophia Grace Crooms; great-grandchildren, Camden Mead, Weston Lane Davenport, Kyler Brooks Davenport, Ellasyn Anne McDaniel, Lucas Gray McDaniel and Stetson McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday October 27, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be Monday October 28, 2024 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Cedar Street Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Primitive Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
