Lisa Ann Newsome, 36, of Metter, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at Candler County Hospital in Metter. She was born on July 16, 1979 in Toombs County. Lisa was of the Baptist faith and homemaker who loved to fish, go mud bogging, and loved going to the river.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Vaughn Willis.
Surviving are her daughter, Hailey Goff of Metter; a son, Hunter Goff of Metter; her father and step-mother, Randy and Debra Newsome of Metter; three brothers, Randy Newsome, Jr. and his wife, Wendie of Metter, James Newsome of Statesboro, and Adam Futch of Lyons; her sister, Tonya Bachelor of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and her fiancAC.e, Robbie Palmer of Metter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel. Interment will be in the Lake Cemetery.
