Larry Greene

Larry Gene Greene, 61, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia. A Cobbtown native, he was the son of Clarence and Betty Ruth Rhiner Green. Larry lived many years in Bryan County and had lived in Collins since 1997. He was an assistant foreman with the Department of Transportation. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved spending time with his family. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Green.

Survivors are two sons, Dustin Warren Greene and his wife, Kasey of Savannah and Larry Damon Greene of Bryan County; his mother, Betty Ruth Green of Collins; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Coye Green of Ellabell and Don and Peggy Green of Collins; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Franklin Findley of Richmond Hill and Debra and Ricky Phillips of Ellabell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 pm, December 29, 2014 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with Elder Lee Price officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Franklin Findley, Brandon Findley, Ricky Phillips, Bobby Burtsell and Keith Green.
