Kayden Wayne Morin, 5 year old son of Joseph Frank and Stephanie Renee Morin, received his angel wings and went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Kayden knew sickness all too well as he was born with a malrotation intestinal defect. He was full of life, strong willed, and the sweetest little loving boy. Kayden was a cherished son who was blessed to have a wonderful Mom and Dad to care for him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Karen and Dale Wilkerson of Swainsboro; paternal grandparents, Frank and Jayne Morin of Metter; maternal uncle and aunts, David Winter of Powder Springs, Rani Wilkerson of Swainsboro and Candy Garnto of Wrightsville; paternal aunts, Beth Hall of Aline and Sherri Wilds of Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James McKenzie and an uncle, Tony McKenzie.
Funeral services for Kayden will be held Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. Morris Brantley and Rev. Dale Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery at Lexsy. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 5:30-7:30 pm, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clay Garnto, T. J.
