Kathy Holland Storey

Kathy Holland Storey, a resident of Metter, passed away on January 8, 2025, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, Kathy was the daughter of Coy Holland and Mildred Rewis Holland. A proud member of the first graduating class of Pinewood Christian Academy in 1973, Kathy was an active cheerleader during her school years and a later attended the University of Georgia.  She was  member of Cedar Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Harrison Eric Storey, and her brother Jeffrey Harris Holland.

Kathy is survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Tucker Holland, of Register; her niece, Britney Fountain (Devan) of Collins; her nephew, Jamey Holland (Brooke) of Pulaski; as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, in Metter on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 5 o’clock.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

A private interment will take place in Lake Cemetery.
