Dateline: Metter John Allen "Shot" Page, Jr., 93, of Cobbtown died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. A native of Soperton, he moved to Metter in 1972 from Savannah after retiring from Derst Bakery. In 1996, he retired as owner and operator of the Western Auto Store in Metter. He was a Master Mason ACACIA #452 of Savannah since 1941. Mr. Page moved to Cobbtown in 2000 where he was a member of the Cobbtown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two wives, Millie Sapp Page and Frankie Brown Page.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, John Anthony "Tony " and Sandra Page of Millen and Mike and Dawn Page of Metter; a daughter, Paula P. Bohler of Statesboro; a sister, Juanita Williams of Soperton; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 PM, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. Jim Rogers and Rev. Bill Eller officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Michael Page, Chris Medlock, Bernard McDaniel, Charles Braziel, David Jarriel and John Credur.
