Joann (Lanier) Lanier

JoAnn Lanier,75, passed away Sunday May 14, 2017 in Mulberry Florida.
Born in Metter, she was the daughter of Grady and Beulah Thrift Lanier. JoAnn was a graduate of Metter High School. She lived in Lakeland Florida where she worked as an account manager for B & M Construction for thirty eight years before moving to Mulberry, Florida five years ago. JoAnn loved going out to dinner with family and friends and entertaining family and friends at her home.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Sharon Rogers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Eddie Adams and Wanda and Fred Sherotski; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; JoAnn’s children’s father, Danny Rogers; a sister, Octavia Smith and a brother, Jack Lanier.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel with Pastor Gene Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
