Jeffery Wayne Finch

Jeffery Wayne Finch, 47, of Metter died Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Candler County Hospital in Metter.

Born in Augusta, he was a son of Wayne Finch and Joy Deal Drapalik.  He lived in Millen and Statesboro for many years before moving to Metter over twenty-years ago.  Jeffery was a self-employed carpenter and loved fishing, his trucks, and most of all his two daughters.

Surviving are his two beautiful daughters, Taylor Finch and Emily Finch both of Metter; a special grandpup, Penny; the mother of his children and former longtime companion, Donna Vance of Metter; his brother, Jody Finch and spouse, Tammy, of Swainsboro; two sisters, Jennifer Miller and spouse, Bryan, of Madison and Jamie Gunn and spouse, Joey, of Statesboro; several cousins that he was close to; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday.
