Jack "Jw" Doyle

Jack “JW” Doyle passed away Sunday morning, September 24, 2023, after a brief illness. He was 78 years old.

J.W. was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years.  He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 474 for forty years.  J.W. was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator and enjoyed his work.  He could fix just about anything. He and Dotty traveled and worked for 15 years with Natural Gas Pipeline Construction.  J.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Marie Doyle; a sister, Evelyn Doyle Sutton; four brothers, Robert Doyle, Henry Doyle, Obert Doyle, Willis Doyle, and one special puppy, “Little Bit”.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dottie” Doyle; Three sons, Jack Michael (Grace) Doyle of Wellington, Florida, Travis D. Doyle of Metter and Scott W. (Cindy) Doyle of Metter; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Randy Doyle (Patricia); six sisters, Lila Mae Ward, Dorothy Fulmer, Annette Cannon, Carolyn Wiley, Dianne Ellis, and Martha Sue Boyette.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Kingdom Hall-Jahova’s Witnesses in Metter.
