Hunter Blake Baugh

Hunter Blake Baugh, 25, of Musella and Metter, Ga, passed away on Monday, November 20th, 2023, in Savannah, Ga.

Hunter grew up in Musella, Ga, as well as Metter. He was a student at Metter High School. Hunter felt that his greatest blessing in life was getting to be a daddy to his son, Grayer Baugh. Hunter enjoyed working at CW Matthews, but he especially loved the people he worked with. They were more like family to him than coworkers. Hunter loved to be outdoors, he was either hunting, fishing, or riding ATVs. More than anything he loved spending time with his son, Grayer, and his family and friends. Hunter always had a smile on his face, and he enjoyed making others smile. Other than his smile, his look was always completed by a hat and chain. Hunter’s memory will be honored by all who knew him and loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius and Moselle Baugh, John and Annie Haizlip, Daisy Hughes and Hubert Jackson, and Karon and Beverly Morris.

He is survived by his parents, Renee (Sonny) Landreth and Eric (Jessica) Baugh; a son, Grayer Blake Baugh; brothers, Ean Baugh, Brandon Landreth, Montana Landreth, and Walker Landreth; sisters, Brooke Malone, Emily Rogers, Madison Morris, and Alexis Morris; grandparents, Andy and Joan Baugh, Sonja Baugh, Anne and Ronald Jackson, Terry and Sandra Grunloh; great-grandparents, Danny and Betty Donahue; a great-grandmother, Melba Gerrald; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Trey McDaniel, Walker Landreth, Chris Almazan, Sid Mitchell, Timmy Monroe, Tre Ross, Trevor Beckum, Tanner Ritchie, Dalton Durden, and Ron Jackson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of CW Matthews Construction.

The family welcomes family and friends to come visit at the Baugh Home in Aline, Ga, as well as the Landreth Home in Musella, Ga.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1 o’clock until 2:30 in the afternoon, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The funeral service will follow on November 25, 2023, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The family welcomes flowers or donations may be made for his son Grayer as a special tribute to Hunter’s memory.
