Huey Max Napier, 81, of Metter died late Thursday, March 13, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.
Mr. Napier was born in Jackson County, Mississippi and Lived in Orlando, Florida and then Melbourne, Florida before moving to Metter eight years ago. He served in the United States Airforce and was a retired air traffic controller. Mr. Napier loved to play golf.
Surviving are his wife Wipha Napier of Metter; a daughter, Monthida Napier of Athens; Three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenny Napier, Dewayne Napier, and Toby and Margaret Napier all of Cocoa Beach, Florida; two grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
A private service will be held later.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
