Holly Ann Cheshire

Holly Ann Cheshire, 70, of Metter, Ga, passed away Tuesday evening on December 5, 2023, at Memorial Health in Savannah, Ga.

Mrs. Cheshire was born the daughter of Hubert and Maybell Stockwell in Jacksonville, Fl. She spent most of her life living in Jacksonville but for the past 13 years of her life she has been part of the Metter community. She has been married to her loving husband, Ivey Cheshire, for 35 years. Mrs. Cheshire retired from many years of work at Colonial Oil working in administration. She enjoyed being outdoors, she liked to camp and ride around in the woods with her husband. She loved her dogs and cats. She especially loved to spend time with Weston, her great-grandson.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ivey Cheshire; a son, James Taylor; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Hayley) Taylor and Jordan Taylor; a great-grandson, Weston Taylor; a sister, Sandra Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter, is in charge of the arrangements.
