Grayson was a gentle person who loved people and animals. Everyone was his friend... .his dear friend. He was considerate, kind, compassionate, a gentleman, intelligent, and lover of art, drama and music.

He had two dear friends in the Far East, Metee (Mike) Chiramakara of Nakhon Sawan, Thailand and Col. Baoeki Slamet of Jakarta, Indonesia. They were very dear to his heart and spent many hours and months with them each year. Being in this many countries, he picked up the language and spoke five languages.

His dear friend, Monty Tillman, spent many hours with him as they completed crossword puzzles. McDonald's was the magic place for morning coffees and meeting friends. Monty was the brother he never had.
