Glenda "Fay" Jackson

Glenda “Fay” Teate Jackson, 68, of Cobbtown, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Ga.

Fay was born the daughter of Oscar and Thelma Lloyd Teate on September 1, 1955, in Vero Beach, Florida. Fay grew up in Florida and later relocated with her family to Cobbtown. She has been a part of the Cobbtown community for nearly 45 years. She spent years serving as a loving caregiver to her brother, Jerry Teate. Fay had a special love for dogs, especially her chihuahuas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Thelma Teate.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Fisher and Steve Fisher; her grandchildren, Leila, Jacob and Chris Fisher; and also a few special friends, Bonita Fisher and Ernie and Jo.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o’clock in the afternoon on May 15, 2024, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
