Gary Delmos Braddock, 60, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Emanuel County Hospital in Swainsboro. Born in Savannah, he moved to Cobbtown three years ago from Pembroke. He was a maintenance engineer at Crider Foods in Stillmore. Gary previously owned and operated All Pro Wood Works in Darien. He loved fishing and his dogs, Sugar Lilly and Runt. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Delmos Braddock and his mother, Dorothy Ann Cobb Rushing.
Survivors are his wife, Michelle Johnson Braddock of Cobbtown; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Scott and Jessica Braddock of Woodbine; two sisters, Julie (David) Kidd of St. Mary's and Debbie (Eldon) Woolard of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Ellabell Grace Braddock and Annalise Braddock Kennedy; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Renee Johnson of Cobbtown.
A Celebration of Life visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel. Burial will be private in the Sunlight Cemetery at a later date. Guest book: www.kennedyfuneralhomes.com.
