Fred Howard Deloach

Mr. Fred Howard DeLoach, 56, of Metter, died Friday, April 7, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Born in Metter he was the son of Bill and Fredda Baughn DeLoach.  He lived most of his life in Metter before moving to Little Rock, Arkansas almost three years ago.  He was a 1978 graduate of Metter High School. Fred was a co-owner of Candler Timber Company and was a timber “cruiser and dealer”.  In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed motorcycles and loved to ride his Harley and dearly loved his family and his friends.

In addition to his father Bill DeLoach, Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Vicky June DeLoach and his grandparents; Fred and Myrtle DeLoach and Grady and Lela Tucker.

Surviving are his son, Cam DeLoach of Statesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Alston Dickerson of Statesboro and Stephanie and Gene Crews of Alvin, Texas; his mother Fredda Baughn DeLoach of Metter; four grandchildren, Kyler Dickerson, Lincoln Dickerson, Ryan Crews, and Dalton Crews; several aunts and uncles; and a nephew, Dustin Davis and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel
