Evelyn Vianna Doyle Sutton

Evelyn Vianna Doyle Sutton, 71, of Metter died early Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation in Metter.

Born in Metter, she was a daughter of Willis E. and Marie V. Doyle.  Mrs. Sutton worked at Metter Manufacturing for over twenty years and in later years was a self-employed baby sitter.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making quilts.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Doyle, Henry Doyle, Obert Doyle and Willis Doyle, Jr.

Surviving are her husband of forty-nine years,  Steve Lee Sutton; her children, Russell Christopher Sutton (Rosanna), Laura Sutton, Mickey Steven Sutton (Mylene) and Patty Sue Hall (David) all of Metter; grandchildren, Brittney Christopher, Matthew Christopher, Lacie Baxter, Christina Cobb, Aaron Johnson, Abbygale Johnson, Shane Sutton, Mickayla Sutton, Mykah Manon Sutton, Brodie Hall, and Braylie Hall; her brothers, Jack William “JW” Doyle (Dottie), Randy Doyle (Patricia); sisters, Lila Mae Ward, Dorothy Fulmer (Dennis), Annette Cannon, Carolyn Wiley, Dianne Ellis (Kurt), and Martha Sue Boyette (Tim “Pepsi”); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5 until 7 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019  at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Durelle M. Harden, Jr., Alston Dickerson, Cole Perry Cannon, Jr., Larry Wiley, Jr., Dalton Wayne Leverette, Jordan Wiley, and Lee Dickerson.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
