Enedina Garcia

Enedina Garcia, 78, of Metter died early Saturday morning at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Born in Querenguaro, Mexico, she was a daughter of Pedro Garcia and Otilia Ascencio. She was a homemaker and attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Metter.

Surviving are her children, Francisco Morales, Jr. (Alicia Morales), Maria G. Benitez (Juan Benitez), Roberto Morales (Elvia Vasquez), Arturo Morales (Rosa Morales), Mariano Morales (Victoria Reyes), Leticia Rodriguez (Rolando Rodriguez), Sandra Soto (Eliezer M. Soto), and Juanita Nevarez (Daniel Nevarez); twenty-two grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 12, 2019 beginning at 6 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Javier Morales, Rolando Rodriquez, Alberto Rodriquez, Samuel Soto, Carlos Morales, and Fernando Morales,

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerardo Benitez and Ricardo Soto.

Enedina Garcia, de 78 años, de Metter, murió la madrugada del sábado en su residencia bajo el cuidado del Hospicio del Área de Ogeechee.  Nacida en Querenguaro, México, fue hija de Pedro García y Otilia Ascencio. La Sra. Era ama de casa y asistía a la Iglesia Católica Holy Family en Metter.

Sobreviven sus hijos, Francisco Morales, Jr. (Alicia Morales), María G. Benítez (Juan Benítez), Roberto Morales (Elvia Vásquez), Arturo Morales (Rosa Morales), Mariano Morales (Victoria Reyes), Leticia Rodríguez (Rolando Rodríguez) ), Sandra Soto (Eliezer M. Soto), y Juanita Nevarez (Daniel Nevarez); Veintidós nietos, cuarenta y cuatro bisnietos; cuatro hermanos; tres hermanas; y varias sobrinas y sobrinos.  La visita se llevará a cabo el domingo 12 de mayo de 2019 a partir de las 6:00 de la tarde en Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.  El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo el lunes 13 de mayo de 2019 a las 11 de la mañana en la Iglesia Católica de la Sagrada Familia.

Seguirá el sepelio en Lake Cemetery.

Los portadores del féretro serán Javier Morales, Rolando Rodríguez, Alberto Rodríguez, Samuel Soto, Carlos Morales y Fernando Morales.
