Dr. William Lee Ross, Ph.D.
Dr. William Lee Ross, Ph.D., of Metter, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Southern Manor at Candler.
Dr. Ross was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Irving Ross and Rose Jarrin Ross. He dedicated many years to private practice as a clinical psychologist, primarily in Fernandina Beach, Florida, where he spent most of his career. Later, he settled in Metter, Georgia. From 2008 to 2013, Dr. Ross worked for the Department of Defense, traveling extensively worldwide.
In addition to his parents, Dr. Ross was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Ross.
He is survived by his wife, Dillie Ross of Metter; his son Kenneth Ross (Kristal) of Switzerland; Scott Bragdon of Metter; his grandchildren, Bronson Bragdon (Erica), Colton Bragdon (Bonnie), Savannah Ross, and Brooklyn Ross; two great-grandsons, Brooks and Everett; a great-granddaughter, Eillie; and several nieces and nephews.
For those wishing to offer condolences in person, the family will receive visitors at their residence at 784 Patterson Drive in Metter on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
