Donald Curtis "Donny" Sisson

Donald Curtis “Donny” Sisson, of Cobbtown, died Thursday morning, November 24, 2022 at his residence.

Donny was born in Metter and was the son of
Barney and Eloise Sisson.  He attended Cobbtown Baptist Church.  Donny was a truck driver and drove for several companies over the span of his career.  Most recently, he worked for MW Collins Incorporated.  Donny loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He loved hunting, fishing and loved riding dirt roads with his dog “Stud”.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherri Sisson Calloway and a brother, Jackie “Zack” Sisson.

Surviving are his wife, Connie Morris Sisson of Cobbtown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Erica Sisson of Jesup and Brad and Mary Martin of Statesboro; his daughter Tiff Johnson of Glennville; his mother, Eloise Sisson of Cobbtown; his brother, Jimmy Sisson (Margaret) of Coleman, Georgia; his sister, Beth Miller (Doug) of Batavia, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jaden Bailey, Brycen Martin, Ava Johnson, Brynlee Martin, and Braiden Sisson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 5 until 7 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.

The graveside will be held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 27, 2022, in Sunlight Cemetery.
